Aug 20, 2026"I just ate a Hawaiian pizza! Simply the best pizza I've had since I arrived! The pizza arrived at my table in about 10 minutes! Super hot, clearly the products were of the highest quality and freshest! The service??? Light years above average! The waiters were extremely polite, funny, and communicative! I went to the bathroom, and the kitchen staff were extremely welcoming and cheerful... what a great place... simply my favorite place! As many times as I visit Makarska, I'll eat here! Thank you so much, you are wonderful... congratulations on the excellent work! THEY ACCEPT CARDS"

Aug 09, 2026"Zmaj is a lovely authentic family run restaurant that serves the most excellent and delicious food. We have eaten here about 8 times over the last few years always yearning to return. On our most recent visit my Wife ate the the Chicken in mushroom sauce and the stuffed Squid and Myself the Steak with Gorgonzola sauce and the Teleci Kotleti (veal cutlets) and we shared a tomato and mozzarella salad and a Greek Salad which we both enjoyed in the cosy beautiful surroundings and fragrance of Jasmine Flowers. The staff are most excellent friendly and genuine people with the very best service You could wish for. I mentioned it was my birthday before we even ordered, and as we were about to leave after paying I was asked to remain seated and presented with a delicious hot chocolate sponge with 2 scoops of ice cream and 2 spoons, followed by a nice strong peach (I think) liqueur. Top Notch establishment, Lovely People, fantastic food ambience and experience...Zmajzing"
